It's hard to think of person who represents Colorado like John Denver said G. Brown Curator of the Colorado Music Hall of Fame. Denver became the first Hall of Fame inductee in 2011. Today he personifies the state for people worldwide. Certainly in my travels you encounter someone on the other continent, a person from New Zealand and you say "I'm from Colorado and the very first thing that comes you hear is"Oh John Denver! Brown admitted. Take Me Home Country Roads was one of Denver's biggest solo achievement after having performed alongside small folk ensembles. It was co-written and produced by Bill Danoff. Danoff composed the track using Johnny Cash in mind but the moment Denver was introduced to an earlier version immediately, he realized it was an instant hit.
