Avery Sunshine

Avery Sunshine has a unique style that blends R&B with gospel, soul music, and R&B. Avery Sunshine has appeared on Broadway and in festivals throughout Europe, as well as her appearance at the Democratic National Convention. Sunshine is Denise White. She is originally from Chester Pennsylvania, where she started her musical career by playing the piano and singing in church. Her musical career began in Atlanta while attending Spellman College. Sunshine was later invited to sing for the President Barack Obama at his inauguration.

Trevor Morris, an SCDC prisoner was killed in being involved in a dispute with another prisoner. Trevor Morris had served 10 years of prison and was killed by stabbing wounds. The incident happened in South Carolina Department of Corrections, Columbia, South Carolina. Trevor was 27 when the incident occurred. He died.
