Jeanie Marie Buss was born in America. The current president is and the controlling owner for the Los Angeles Lakers National Basketball Association. The California native Buss was raised in an upper class family. Jerry Buss' father was an investor in real estate and was later a part owner of the Lakers along with several other companies in the field of sports. In 1972, her parents broke up up and she felt emotionally abandoned. In the year 19 she was appointed the General Manager of Los Angeles Strings, a professional tennis team. She then founded in the Los Angeles Blades team of professional roller hockey. Before becoming vice president for the Lakers in 2013, she was president of Great Western Forum. Her father died in 2013, and his control over control for the Lakers was inherited by Buss as well as her siblings by a trust of the family with each sibling having an equal vote. The Lakers named her president. Los Angeles Lakers. Buss is the owner of Women of Wrestling in Los Angeles, an organization that promotes pro wrestling.
